Though you have to play in offline mode for it to not crash unexpectedly every couple of minutes. I'm hoping that's fixed this year.
lol i just ended up buying a new windows pc for the first time of 1x years ...
was hoping the steam deck + its steam OS can complete replace windows gaming platform sadly it just cant yet
i have stood my ground and only use macOS + geforce now for gaming until wwe2k22 and wanted to get into VR gaming
WWE 2k22 performs great on the Steam Deck under Steam OS when it doesn't crash. Unfortunately, it crashes randomly and often (during menus, during matches, during loading, etc.), especially if you were connected to the internet.
WWE 2k19 works without issues on the Steam Deck, though. I hope WWE 2k23 will do so as well.
Main reason I wanted to get it on PC as well was more mods and the portability of the steam deck. 22 worked fine myself, so I figure 23 should and heres hoping maybe it will be more supported.
i should have done that. im simultaneously downloading it on both my PC and steam deck at the same time lol!
It is at like 40gbs out of the 70gbs and I started it maybe like 15-20 minutes ago. So I think by 12:45 should be done.
let me know how it runs and if you experience crashes and if you use proton experimental to make it work lol
At first I did have issues where it was like running in slow motion, but I forgot my deck was still set to refresh rate of 40 and stuff to conserve battery, but when I removed that and set it back to 60hz it was working flawless.
