No healing or regenaration

I startet a golem run and early in the run i picked up the sad tomato. after that my health was stuck at 50% max health and i couldnt heal or regenarate health, but take damage.
anybody else having encountered that problem?

Read what Golem actually does. Part of the character's abilities is a complete inability to heal by any means. Sad Tomato is not a good purchase for Golem!
