Brotato isn't opening.

Does anyone else have the issue of brotato not opening? I've verified files, uninstalled/reinstalled, even restarted my computer. It was working fine yesterday (after the new characters came on the beta branch) So I'm confused as to why it seems to be unable to open now. If anyone has experienced this and got a solution, I would greatly appreciate a bit of help

same problem here, yesterday beta update installed, started no problem. today game crashes directly after first logo. reinstallation did not help

Try uninstalling any mods you have, it fixed crashing on beta branch for me.

Game just goes to the GODOT Engine screen then shuts off.

I just deleted my entire Steam folder. I reinstalled Steam then installed Brotato, it is now working!

Right-click on Brotato in your library and select "properties". Under the general tab select "launch options" and enter “--video-driver GLES2“. Close and launch the game.

Doesn't open for me and also seems to crash Windows Explorer as my task bar disappears.
