Save file migration

I received the game in Epic games store but now I want to buy it here. Can I migrate my save file from the Epic games version here?

Yes. You would need to find the save file location and copy it elsewhere, then install the game via STEAM and if needed, paste your copied save files in but it may work without you needing to do anything at all because when a game is installed, no matter which platform, the game itself will set a location for the save files. But I would create a backup first, just to be safe because STEAM installing it *may* over-write it .. i don't think it will but better safe than sorry.

Tried it -> works! (Windows)

Type %appdata% into your explorer. Open folder Brotato.
There should be two folders with some alphanumeric Name.
Do a backup!!
I have got the standard version on epic and the DLC-version on Steam.
So i had to copy some lines into the epic log file (for the DLC in Steam).

Then i started the game on Steam and got 59 achievements unlocked and all my progress was on Steam.
