How do I get the "abyss"?

What is this abyss? I beaten on difficulty 5, the highest on the game, and there is no achievement won! What do I do? I dont know where the abyss is! There is no difficulty past 5 game!

You'll notice in the "Run Options" window on the far left at character selection it says "Crash Site", simply click there and choose Abyss instead.

it's an option in the upper right of the character select. It's "Crash Zone" by default, you gotta change that to Abyss.

It is a DLC that you have to buy to access the level (+ other new content).
