Different weapons. For example, if you have knife/wrench/axe/stick/sword/hammer equipped, you'd get the bonus attack speed 6 times, once for each unique weapon; if you have 3 sticks and 3 axes, you'd only get the bonus attack speed 2 times, once for a stick and another for an axe.

Last part is not correct. If you have multiples of the same weapon none of them are unique by definition. So if you have 3 sticks and 3 axes you would not get any bonus but if you have one stick and one axe you would bonus 2 times.
