Fish Hook exploit

Now the fish hook gains "pity bonus" when it fails to curse any locked items.
Whether it succeed or not seems to be determined when you start the next wave.
You can foresee the result by pausing the game mid-wave and check if it got pity bonus.
Returning to main menu and resuming again will take you to the last shop, causing the fish hook result getting rerolled.
Therefore, it allows you to exploit the game by keep rerolling until it successfully curse an item.
I hope it will get fixed.

But who on cares so much about the outcome of a single item in 20-40min run?

Jesus, people seem to forget to just enjoy the moment and keep with what is given to them.

while i dont wanna say : exploits shouldnt be fixed but lets be honest why bother ?
it has no negativ effect on the game, if someone wants to they can just:

dl a mod and give themself a 100% chanced hook anyway
so does it matter there is some exploit that does this =?

It's something, that affects nearly no one by accident. Unlike the reduced reroll prices, where you could get more than 100% reroll cost reduction resulting in you gaining infinite money after some rolls, this exploit wont trigger unless people really want to.

You can also restart the game/quit to menu every time you are about to die, or even write a script that does that.
Is it fun though? Dunno.
