One to go to 100% and it is Diver (AKA the C*NT)
Diver in the Crash Zone is my last character and I will have 100% at D5 in the Crash and in Abyss. Having a hard time with diver as RNG is being a C*NT and it needs to work to make it happen. Any tips? Made it to 20 many times with Cactus (nothing else gets me there) but missing some really helpful red drops in the shop. All other weapons are crap. The last boss battle must have been bumped as I am seeing much harsher attacks. Also when some characters are dazed by the harpoon seem to not really be dazed, if I chase them they sprint away 2x as fast as they usually do. This seems to go against the idea of the weapon. So many tries and so many fails. It is so hard to get the cactus in the crash zone as I cannot select it and appears in about 1/10 tries in the first round. Sigh! I will get it done, maybe I am missing something.

Cacti Club is entirely the wrong weapon.

Divers modifiers make it such that you really want to be using Precise crit based weapons for DPS. The extra crit modifier basically offsets the extra enemy HP, so if your weapon crits 100% of the time, your damage is comparable to a normal character. Then you add Diver's bonus debuff from the Harpoon gun, and you slaughter Tanks and Elites. Played this way, you don't need to debuff trash mobs to oneshot them, which leaves only tanks standing who then get debuffed and die.

Start with 5 weapons, 1 Harpoon gun, then transition to 4 weapons + 2 Harpoon gun. Thief daggers are a natural fit, as their only real drawback is lack of damage scaling, and Diver's passives provides that. Melee isn't punished for running only 4 effective weapons, as they all have infinite cleave, and again for Elites/bosses, Diver's debuff is worth more than carrying 2 extra weapons. Keep in mind that because the Crit boost is so huge, getting to 100% crit is pretty important on Diver. Amusingly, Thief daggers benefit even more from this, as regular non-crits are likely not to kill, which increases the number of crit kills and thus materials earned.

On those coat tails I tried another dive earlier and got through starting with a throwing star.

Eventually that was 1 harpoon, 2 stars, 2 med guns and a trident before wave 7. Combine the med guns to a purple, got another harpoon, and built along those other lines above too... at least with the hunting trophy and black flag. It wasn't a dominant run but I beat the bosses at wave 20 with over 10s left. There are lots of options but precise weapons are solid.
Just ran two harpoon guns, 2 throwing stars, and two thief daggers. I kept trying for 3 thief daggers. But that loadout with a crit focus like VoF said is real dominant.

Thank you soo much. I was following a video from Dex who strangely got rid of the harpoon and was trying via just cactus. The crit and double harpoon did the trick. Mowed through everything on D5 and got to 27 before getting killed via silly mistake. I think I might give it another run.

I am now 100% at D5 for every brotato in Crash Zone and The Abyss. It only took 462.9 hours! Loved the game even though some of the characters bothered the bejuzus out of me.
Woot. GG.
