Baby Danger 5
I am having consistency issues with Baby danger 5 on random weapon start. Even all hiking poles is kinda hard on baby ( a weapon other than stick that can synergize well with each other)

I feel consistency is almost there. Can't tell if it is how I am playing or it needs one more small buff. It just shows how important being able to choose your own stats are in this game.

In case you didn't read. I can win on baby. I can definitely win with sticks. But what if you start with a pistol - or a fist - or an icicle. and even then - I run into situations where I get to the final wave - I can easily clear it with my power - but the game didn't offer me any HP - Armor or sustain - etc. It is frustrating.

Lots of people lately pointing out the same thing - if you go outside the obvious cookiecutter builds most of the game becomes a huge chore.

Yes, the highest difficulty requires the strongest builds. Would you rather a game that never gets difficult enough to warrant optimization? Given your username, I'd expect not!

the game already had multitasker. it doesn't need another "use sticks on me lol" character. baby should be way more interesting than it is, but it's just weak and borderline unplayable because not enough care was put into its design.
depending on how you play it you either can't make it through wave 20, or you can just barely win and then you're simply too weak to ever turn it into an endless run. it's so obviously a character that's meant for endless but it can't succeed in that environment, so instead it's "wow i got a lot of weapons going at the very end of this short run, okay on to the next character" ... such a missed opportunity

consider how inconsistent it is to level up on the first wave. you need like a 1 in 10 rng of enemies+a tree to make it happen, and if you don't get it your build is already off to a horrid start that probably never gets any better.
a little thing like that can be solved by nudging the xp penalty a small amount and they haven't done it, probably because not enough people are actually trying the character with anything except sticks. they must not play their own game enough to see how flawed and lopsided 90% of it is - would explain how all the patch changes since the DLC release were kneejerk reactions based on players complaining.

also your idea is kind of self defeating - the strongest build doesn't include choosing baby

fortunately lots of people on the forums here get it. more and more threads all the time where people say essentially the same thing. even if nothing gets changed it's good to know some people are smart enough!
