Brotato [beta-dlc] wont load.

I did as the page said and uninstalled all mods, selected the beta DLC, and it installed with no problem. I launched the game, and the Blobfish Games screen appeared for 3 seconds before closing. The game won't load past that. I even checked Task Manager to see if there were ghost copies of the game running, but there is nothing unusual there.

Any idea what I could do about this?

WTF, if I try to open the game through the desktop link or the Steam menu, it won’t load, but if I open the folder and simply double-click the Brotato.exe, it opens no problem... It doesn’t even ask if I want to run it as administrator or anything...

I was having the same problem before, but it solved it perfectly.

First, unsubscribe from all subscribed mods on the mod subscription page.
Second, go to the full version of the game, not the DLC beta.
and check whether there is an existing game in progress, and if so, quit the game completely.

After doing this, if you run the game in the DLC beta version, the game will run naturally without turning off. (This article was written through a translator, so there may be unnatural sentences.)

I still can’t make it work correctly. Now I can open the game if I do so directly from the Brotato.exe file (not the desktop shortcut), and I do get a few new items like the Fireball and Icicle weapons, and a few other new items, but I don’t see any new classes. The map is the same old one (no new enemies or bosses either).

I have the same problem, luckily there are other good games that can do this better. I thought you could just start it without having to open it in several ways... then I left again
