best ways to unlock dlc chars?
hey folks what did u guys do to unlock the new chars? some seem very specific, having trouble with the 250 consumable one, 25r enemies hit with one melee, 0 curse run (i keep killing the loot aliens..)

Pruner Pacifist takes care of the consumable, 25 enemies hit, 0 curse (the curse carriers stick to edges and are relatively tanky so can take a driveby pruning), throw in a torch at some point and you'll get the enemies burning one as well.
Once you have some survivability and there's sufficient spawns (abyss D5 wave 4 for me), herd enemies into blob and throw yourself at them. Or just play any melee 'tato and it pops eventually.
1000 damage, just luck into any of those legendaries while it's relevant to your build, I guess? Ranged and obliterator may be the most reliable. Suppose endless works as well.
Kill 1000 enemies more than 700 away just happens while playing ranged.
Pickup range, select Soldier.

For 1k dmg in 1 hit, I'd just go loud with thief daggers. Buy as much melee damage/% damage as possible, max out crit, then find some other weapon with better scaling (if you find a knife that will pretty easily do it, but lots of weapons probably can at that point). If you get kind of unlucky you may need to go into endless, but it's not too bad to hit 1k damage crits on loud within 20 waves.
