It can be strong if you know what to do.
Might as well "balance" farmer by assuming they go pruner and make them unplayable in every other scenario.
baby has the downside of "oh no I don't get any stats when I level up, whatever will I do? Oh yeah just do 200+ damage to everything on the map and turn my brain off completely."
So no I'm not saying balance it around the OP meme build, I'm saying that it needs a better downside then just no stats. Because honestly if you gave this character SMG it would be broken, or god forbid 24 rocket launchers, or nuke launchers with a couple shedders mixed in. I can see a ton of ways to break the game with this character right now and your argument thus is invalid.
But if you want a BAD character, check out the Vampire.
Fireball is a tier 2 weapon, characters usually don't start with weapons higher than tier 1. It kinda sucks to no have it but hey, it's more special when you finally get it.
Vagabond seemed pretty okay to me, +15 health, some armor, dodge, critic and damage. You can get 6 full bonuses pretty early on and I felt like I was too tanky for that point of the game, with medieval and idk if it was blunt or what other set bonus you already have positive armor, and the +15 health from primitive is so good.
I really liked the balance of this free update, I think they really made a good job. Also, I play at level 5 100% difficulty, in case someone asks about it.
In order to understand a character's power level you have to understand them within the context of the game's economic progression, and view these things without getting deep, deep in your feelings about your initial, unconsidered impression.
Endless is for people with too much free time.
And baby isn't the strongest character in the new beta.
It's glutton.
