Co-op with keyboard only not possible?

We cant figure out how to play co-op without all remote people using a controller.
Is it possible to add an option where one player can use wasd and the other the arrowheys for example, and perhaps mouse for another.

One person can use M+KB on Steam Remote Together, this is usually the case for all Remote Play games.

One person MAYBE could set up XInput to use their keyboard to be recognised as a controller, and bind their buttons in XInput as if though it was one.

I want it to be keyboard to like player 1 uses WASD player 2 uses IJKL and the other 2....ummm

I found out its fairly easy to fix using an app called keyboard splitter if anyone is still looking for a solution
