Scared Snake + Flame Turret

Does the engineering fire turret count as fire? Will spread if you have a scared snake?

As far as I can tell yes, it does. Same goes for burn speed.

Its not very useful synergies though, burn is just bad.

But when you have 100+ engineering, even that first tick is 100+ damage. So If I can make it spread, I can soften enemies.

Burning damage doesn't stack on the same target.
By the time you're at 100+ engineering, you'll also have 6-8 explosive turrets, compared to which the 100 damage burn ticks will be mostly irrelevant.

I run Engineer and cyborg D5 endless for fun. I hit 100 engineering before turn 10. Still figuring out wombo combos to hit turn 30.

Don't worry about people telling you its bad. If its fun do it. Yes flame turrets burn will spread with snake. You can also make all turrets burn with sausage if you want.

Yes it does, snake helps spreading the fire from incendiary turrets. Also if you buy sausage while you have an incendiary turret, it gains +1 damage.
