Found cake. It gives -1% damage. I assumed it would give -.2% damage. Instead it gave me +2% damage. is that intended??? I mean, a negative + a negative = a positive, so I guess it makes sense.

You're forgetting his other passive that gives extra damage for every different tier 1 item he has.

renegade has 80% dmg modification, so cake gave you like -0.2 % dmg,and at the same time he recieved 10 % dmg (with modification it's 2 %) for every different types of tier 1 items,there you go
