What effects Turrets?

Are there stats or items besides engineering that effect turrets?

yes theres a item that boost its firerate by 25% forgot the name but you get it after you win with a certain potato

like engineering says structures are effected by secondary stats like piercing, bouncing explosive size and explosive damage also Improved Tools makes structures scale

Any secondary stats affect turrets, primary don't (except engineering and things that explicitly say they do).

Engineering is the only primary stat that affects turrets, however they can still benefit from secondary stats such as piercing, bounce, and the slows. Special effects from items like ugly tooth, snake, bandana, ricochet, dynamite and scared sausage also work.

Bandana and Ricochet are secondary stats, for what it's worth.

What about elemental damage, for burning turrets? and the snake upgrade that makes your attacks have a chance to burn on attack.

No and yes, in that order. You can tell elemental damage doesn't work because there's no symbol saying it scales to that.

Elemental damage is primary, so no.
Snake actually works on turret attacks, and snake damage does increase from elemental, but it is still not very good synergy.

tl:dr any secondary stat or effect that is not a primary stat will affect turret.
Its really not all that complicated that people make it out to be..

I knew about the secondary stats, but I wasn't sure if burning from the tier 2 turret counted as burning for the sake of spreading/other burning-related effects. That's useful to know, thanks!

Its pretty useless however, imo lvl 2 turrets are beyond garbage.
