MacOS Port?
Since the game runs on Godot, would it or would it not be trivial to make this game available for MacOS users?

it is indeed trivial and you can actually do it yourself. I believe the only reason the developers haven't released a MacOS version yet is because they probably don't have a Mac to try it on.

That is the worst excuse there is for it. The game went through the ceiling the developer made several million and has no money for a 1000€ Mac mini base model.

I think he just doesn't feel like taking care of it after more than a year and the 1.0 version.

https://playtracker.net/insight/game/79507 -> estimated player 1.3 million
1.3 Million * (avg price) 3.99 Euro = 5.187.000 Euro

He made several million with this game apart from what he has to steam.

Besides, it's all the same - even if he had only made 100,000 euros. 1000 for a Mac or 500 for a used Mac should be enough for anyone who publishes games

What I can imagine is that he thinks to himself: "I've made enough money, I don't need to release a macos version anymore - the few thousand macos users can all kiss my ass".

can you re-do this math but with the part where Valve takes a 30% cut of all sales? this is unfortunately the price the game developer has to pay

Okay i will do it
5.187.000 Euro * .7 (-30% Valves takes) = 3,630,900
Still enough to buy a used mac for testing the game if it is starting. He doesn't even need a Mac to build the game. At Github or Gitlab he gets enough free build minutes to create a playable version. Even enough to do it once a month. He just needs a Mac to see if it starts. I guess since it's in Godot he doesn't even need a Mac because Godot automatically runs it cross platform. From the developer's point of view it seems to me that he doesn't want to deal with it or doesn't feel like it

I probably wouldn't want to deal with Mac users either.

MacOS version would be lovely. I could play when traveling. :)

Unfortunately I don't have a PC or laptop, just an iMac with an M1 chip. My favorite game, which is Brotato and I've already bought it, is only available for Windows and that's just kellek. so please give me the MacOS version

Same, already bought it on my Steam account, makes no sense to pay again on AppStore my friends

Same here. Steam is where I play games, not the App Store. Pity. Would have happily added my money to that pile claimed above, but noticed the "Windows only" just in time. Meh.
