Can't get 2 bait..

I've played to the point where I've got every new character beaten at D5, but I've never seen 2 bait in a run.. Does anyone have any tips, other than luck?

It's mostly just luck. But you'll have more chances with a high economy character like Loud or Farmer.

You need to keep rerolling, play D0 with a high income character and you may get it with some luck because you know when you want something you'll have to rely on the heavy RNG.

Yes it definitely comes down to luck. I thought I was going to be in the same spot as you are but then I literally got super lucking getting two one after the other in the same shop. And yes it is to get fisherman

That should be possible, but it is a bad idea. You don't need to buy both baits in the same round and locking makes the rerolling just less effective

Don't buy other blue items (weapons are fine) on the run you are fishing for baits, that'll help filtering a little bit iirc.

Play Farmer or Enterpreuner and roll, baby, roll. Don't forget to grab some luck as well

No; you will never be offered an identical weapon/item that you already have in the shop. (The one exception is FIsherman's guaranteed Bait each shop, which can stack.)

I am dead tired, I know it's an old post, I don't have time to read all the replies, so please kill me... Anyeay. I couldn't roll for it in shop, never happened. So I went out, took the Golem on 2nd difficulty on endless. Went for 2 x Gentle Aliens, thought it might increase the odds, and got the 2nd Bait on wave 14. Zzzzzz night all.
