Well you do as usual aside for upgrading weapons.

Not much I can tell you since you'll be depending on RNG shop so I can't tell you to pick this weapon or that weapon, advices are mixed here too because some said that they do a mix of melee and ranged, search "Arms dealer" on the search bar to your right to find it along advices.

Hope that will help you.

Ranged or Melee, or a mix. Mix is harder, melee is easiest. Here you can watch my run to get ideas

You can try going for items that don't require a specific weapon to do well. Luck based build can do well with Cyberballs and such.

You can also try to get Snakes and Sausages, to spread burning with any weapon, then stack ele damage.

Other than those, you shouldjust try to focus on melee. It is easy to scale. Something I find myself doing with arms dealer is once I am happy with my weapons for the current round, if I see a weapon that I like I will freeze it for next round. Don't buy weapons to upgrade em unless you think it is the only way to win your current wave.

You need 1 Damage source besides Weapons, you can go cyberballs and elephants and luck, or for example alot alien eyes. Sometimes you get stuck with like 2 weapons and then you need other dmg sources.

Arms dealer didn’t come together for me until I started focusing on defence—don’t tank your regen and survivability thinking your damage will keep you safe, it will not. Instead, think about how while your damage will vary round to round your defence won’t. Having good survivability mitigates and manages the ups and downs of Armie.

The other thing is you don’t need THAT much damage %—flat damage is DOUBLED when you have 100% up. You have to think that 12% more of just 1 melee damage is only adding 0.12 (on a one to one scaling weapon) so get your flat damage up! Yes the weapon’s damage is green but you could be dealing so much more if you had any amount of flat to boost it.

Yes it will if you know how to play the game. Damage is the #1 thing that keeps you safe in this game. Regen is trash btw

Well you are correct about the damage % but both offense and defense work, as always it depend on what the shop give you so Arms dealer have a lot of viable builds. Plenty of good advices in the topic. I'd like to know if OP managed to win or not.

The trick is that offensive power is technically also an economic boost. That's why Luck is the best defensive stat for most characters, because it has the same caveat.
