Endless mode does have an end....
it will crash, I'm not the one knowing that since I've stopped at wave 32 right now to write this but someone i've worked with on an endless and difficulty mod checked in the game to see what was new (like if GODOT Engine can really handle more stuff) and they have said that the limit will be wave 99 999 at best.

Granted that you can get there because you can have so much stuff that the engine will crash at some point, also it's not just ennemies health and damage that increase they'll also gain more speed and it's very important to keep on getting HP and damage otherwise you'll be one-shot. That's how it usualy end but who is crazy enough to try to reach such high level ? (Aside me)

Endless mode is fun tho, good job devs, now if you could make a danger level that have ennemies stats at level 20/100/1000 right from wave 1 that would be the biggest challenge to have.

Computers are even worse at handling infinity than humans. Pac-Man is the most famous example of an end being forced on the game by technical limitations:

Indeed, so regardless at some point your run will end whether you die or not.
Of course even reaching wave 99 999 would take a lot of time and ennemies may stack faster than the player due to inflation, so one thing the player will have to rely on is leveling up and even that may not be enough.
