Big sigh for Weapon Dealer and Streamer
The first time since I started playing Brotato I now reached that point of being completely frustrated.
Up to this point I've cleared every other class on D5 and while it was challenging and often enough very hard for sure (as it should be) I had the urge to succeed.
These two, but especially the weapon dealer lean more towards "work that has to be done" in my books.
I really do not enjoy playing them and somehow I needed to express this here as a vent.

The Streamer is kind of okay played with Wrenches and structures - but: the spawning points of your turrets are critical for success yet completely random what often enough can lead from doing really good in one round to being obliterated in the next.

The weapon dealer is just dumb. I tried this mostly in two ways:
(Please note: Survivability stats of course are also part of these, but I do not mention them specifically)
1. as a Jack of all trades char aiming for flat of all kinds + percentage damage + Harvesting + Luck. Buying the best weapons of all kinds. Often enough this does not do the trick as you're not specialized enough for later waves in terms of stats.
2. as a ranged char with flat ranged + percentage damage + harvesting + luck. Buying only ranged weapons via shop manipulation (leaving a ranged weapon in the shop). This is where the real pain begins. There's always this one round between turn 15-18 where you get completely f***ed by the random factor. Even with above 100 luck you're getting welcomed in the shop by either grey or blue weapons only or shop manipulation is outsmarted by the game itself.
"Ayyy friend, you got that shiny Minigun ey? This Fist or this blue lil Stick here would look quite nice with it don't you think?!"
Well yes, but actually no.
It is just not a fun design for a character to me.

While this is just a big whiny mess up to this point:
Any recommendations for these two lil f**ks, making this a bit more constructive all in all?

Thanks in advance.

Standing next to the wall that is most protected by your turrets as much as you can with the Streamer seems to be a good way to get money. (And also not spending all your money if you are strong for the current wave, so you can get even more money) -- But if you need to run for your life then don't try to be greedy.

I have only did a couple unsuccessful runs with the Arms Dealer but it seems like forcing Sausage build would be a good way to avoid falling off at later waves.

Quoting my post from that other dude's thread who had trouble with Arms Dealer

3 elites and 2 bosses killed. Pretty easy run. I'm 2/2 on this class for D5 runs. Wave 13 got hairy because bad RNG at the shop, but other than that pretty smooth sailing.

Pick something to focus on, ranged or melee and go with that. You dont need 6 weapons to do fine. 5 or even 4 is enough if you got good ones. So dont waste too much money on rerolls. The free 30 harvest to begin with is huge, so get more asap.

Dont bother with life steal, hp regen, dodge. Armor is up to you, I went overboard with it, could've done without.

This class will test your understanding of the game and the meta weapons/items. I'd put it at high mid tier in terms of power, but only if youre experienced enough.

As you can see from the run, I didnt always have full ranged weapons, even in the later rounds. Would also add that greys or blue weapons are fine too.

Streamer is more consistent with a ranged build (or melee, but that takes more practice and it only works well with Sticks or Spears). Slingshot is the easiest to win with, but SMGs and Shotguns can do well too. Slingshot allows you to mostly ignore Ranged Damage and focus on %Damage instead (the most important stat for a non-Engineering Streamer) and the Primitive set bonus also lets you get away with taking less Max HP upgrades so you can focus even more on boosting %Damage and other important stats.

At the start you don't want to buy anything except for weapons until your materials have piled up over 300 (lock up to 2 items that you really want, and buy them afterwards). By wave 7 you should be carrying over a minimum of 300 materials each wave. You can go higher than that, but be careful not to carry over so much that your %Damage and Speed will drop so low that you get yourself killed. The more %Damage (and Speed to a lesser extent), the more materials you can safely carry over each wave. Don't ever carry over more than 834 materials, that's enough to hit the cap of 25 materials per second.

For elite waves, spend your materials until your %Damage is high enough that you can kill the elite quickly. You might have to go under 300 materials or even spend all of them, which will hurt your income for the wave, but you'll make up for it on other waves. Do not try to stand still until the elite is dead, keep moving so your +40% Damage and +40% Attack Speed buff is active to burst the elite down asap. Streamer is one of the easiest characters to kill elites with due to that bonus. Same thing for the wave 20 bosses, but always spend ALL your materials before going in to it.

Focus mainly on %Damage, Attack Speed, and a bit of Speed for your stats. IMO skip Crit Chance entirely, you want to be able to kill enemies consistently before they reach you and not be reliant on RNG doing enough damage. Having some Speed is important because you aren't going to be able to stand still 100% of the time, especially late in the wave when your materials have piled up and both your %Damage and Speed are reduced a lot. You'll need to move sometimes to avoid chargers and projectiles, and sometimes you'll just need that +40% Damage +40% Attack Speed bonus to kill tougher enemies or large groups of enemies before they reach you.

Buy every Engineering structure item that shows up in the shop. Even if your Engineering stat is 0, it's still a cheap +2 Armor. You can easily end up with 20-30 Armor without ever taking any Armor upgrades on level up.
