Still not very exciting, but better than some set bonuses.
And yeah, thief dagger is a huge win-more thing.
Basically 1/2 damage of a regular knife bundled with a hunter's trophy that maybe someday makes up money you lost by having to compensate for the damage difference.
You've never actually used it, then, at least in the current release where it scales 50% with both Melee Damage and Engineering. Does more than enough (unlike Wrenches) to let you move around the arena and kill stuff in your way while your massive minefields clear pretty much everything else.
The Slingshot isn't Precise and it doesn't scale off of Melee Damage. They are completely different weapons for completely different builds.
You don't need to kill the boss/es in order to win and I'll say don't go for crit, instead go for 60% dodge (that's the max). Lifesteal is better with fast weapons like the uzi/machine gun.
8 armor isn't a lot, with around 30 armor + some lofe regen you'll be good (and speed) but if you go lifesteal then just don't go below HP regen.
Yes sadly RNG play a big part in your build so if you are lucky you'll get an easy win and if you are very unlucky it will be harder to win but there is nothing we can do about it, hope that help.
Just finished a D5 run on saver using thief dagger - last bosses didn't survive longer than 3 seconds each and no really OP items found

You even took the eyes wich I also tend to buy, well since you are clearly above in skills you can win with any weapons, but for newbies or average players they may find certain items bad.
I can win D5 runs with any weapons (or no weapons at all) so for high skilled players everything is fine.
