The same can also be said of hordes, though. The only reason I'd argue for consistency is that you can just restart until getting a favorable seed.
Artificer sounds great against elites considering you just have to hit somewhere there and explosions take care of rest.
Artificer is all about big explosions with ok dmg and relatively low attack speeds. It mops up the trash mobs like no tomorrow, but cant really put the hurt on elites or bosses. Atleast not without the Hoodie
Butcher/Chef for an elite is just... UGGGHHH. At least 80% of my Danger 5 Losses are due to this bastard. Like you can't get away from it's attack pattern and one hit tends to do crazy damage. Your only real course of action is to load up on dodge/armor/health, get lucky that it's on wave 15 (relatively weak wave), or hope you don't encounter it at all.
Please make it stop. Just give it a range limit or something so we can just kite away. Please.
