But we'll see. Perhaps he can balance things out again in the next update and make it less of a gambling game and more of the rogue-lite it's supposed to be.
Only for bad players.
Courtney is the saddest boy in school. By the way, you finally stumbled upon a perfect example of strawman. Obviously op wasn't saying that this game has no rng, b/c that would be absurd. He is suggesting that long term practice and skill will prevail over rng/variance w/ a large enough sample. That is 100% true. You decided to strawman his argument by saying loads of superior streamers lose games all the time. So, if they are better than him and lose, then that means that rng is present. However, he never claimed that rng isn't present. By the way, you are the one that said that this game is 100% rng, so what do you meant that superior streamers are playing? How could anyone be superior if this is 100% rng? What dose superior mean if this game is 100% rng. Oh poor Courtney, this is getting sadder by the day.
Oh, and the irony of you falsely accusing me of strawmanning while you're the one doing exactly that in the very same message is not lost on me. You're trolling, right? Because no one is that stupid. Surely, you're not that stupid... Right... Oh dear...
(In case you really are serious and you just happen to have a below 80 IQ, you might wanna quote my 100% RNG. You might find it at one of my previous message up above where I said 90% RNG. I know scrolling and reading is hard at your mental level, but let's just try to pull through, shall we?
So if I play those 15 classes I dont lose runs all the time, I rarely lose at all. The issue is class balance, not that D5 is too hard.
I also think that some of the enemies need to be reworked in general, since the damage output between different creatures is incredibly unbalanced and often simply doesn't make sense (like the eggs dealing a lot of contact damage before they are hatched. Like, why?)
But these things are widely known issues and the community has criticized this update for these things more than once. Rightfully so. Hopefully the dev will listen.
Now, my problem is with the giant amount of RNG in the game to the point where it holds a strong veto over either winning or losing a game. The reason I mention D5 in particular is because that's where you notice this problem the most. A few things to fix this would include a shop rework, a spawnpoint rework for enemies, and perhaps even a rescaling of waves and stats. And yes, I agree that the different characters are very different in difficulty. Now, I don't really mind that too much, but it seems the differences are just too big at this moment in time.
Many people on this forum don't seem to realize what a rogue-lite is and should be. They seem fine grinding the same character over and over on D5, trying to get that one lucky run to get a long deserved win. That's NOT supposed to happen with this genre of games. Yes, luck should be a component, but it should not hold a complete veto over whether or not you win the game. Instead, it should be one of many factors you have to work your way around with. In the end, assuming someone reaches an elite level of skill in the game, you shouldn't lose any runs. And right now that is FAR from the case.
Don't get me wrong, I really like the concept of the game, which is why I bought and played it. And before this current update, it was doing most of the things it should do. But I think that adding new ideas, items, enemies, etc. wildly unbalanced everything to a point the developer simply did not anticipate, resulting in luck being the definitive factor in a lot of runs. So I keep hoping he's busy fixing these issues right now.
Random things wo proof???? This thread has been going on for weeks and yet you still haven't given one fact. You just keep saying your opinion, your friends opinions, and conflating some threads where ppl are unhappy w/ losing on D5 w/ "fact that this game is 100% rng based". You do realize that everyone can still see the thread that you started, you genius. "SO I gave it some time....I quite playing some time ago b/c the game had become 100% rng based...." Ahahahahahahahahahahaha. You focused on this one thing, and yet it was another bold face lie by you. You then have the audacity to say that I can't read and have an IQ below 80 when you can't keep even be bothered to go back to look at your post. It's right there, everyone can see it. You wrote 100% rng. You are a true national treasure.
