you see i actually tried that, but i again the DPS was so abysmal , and i think i had G.axes too , idk if its because higher difficulty or what.
and again if i just have 1 scepter lets say and go all out on everything else it doesnt feel worth even getting the scepter in the first place
2. Secondary Weapon, with AoE to make sure to not get overrun
3. Don't use it as Main Weapon, but as Support

If you have a ghost sceptre on danger 5 you have to heavily supplement it with wepaons that actually kill groups of enemies like melee weapons or AOE ranged weapons. You also need +damage so that it actually gets kills, otherwise it is just lost money.
thats what ive noticed, its damage falls off very quickly without buffing it somehow with items, strange weapon
Focus your first 4-5 waves on getting 6 weapons as soon as possible.
Then you need to make sure to keep scaling your damage so that you can keep one shotting most of the small mobs. You will need a lot of attack speed too.
It may be a good idea to have one or two melee weapons with high base damage, otherwise you will lose a lot of income and fall behind.
Try Ghost Axes and replace them later on if you feel your dps with scepters is good enough.
If you go this hybrid route, then it's best to focus on %Damage and %Attack speed, instead of pure melee and ranged %damage stats so that it affects both.
That’s on danger 0. Literally everything works on danger 0
