Limited means there is only that many of that item available during the run. Unique means there is only 1 of it.
The point of the game is creating a good build that can win the run. Trust me, the game gets so hectic in the later waves at higher dangers that just focusing on movement is enough.
Imo there are some instances where auto attack is better but most of the time manual aim gives you more control and is better.
The items that are limited/unique have the limit set at that point because either:
1. Adding an a extra copy wont do anything because the only thing that scales is %chance and you maxed it out at 100%.
2. Its powerful item and needs to be limited for balance reasons. Just think of having multiple piggy banks.
