3000 Materials?
Saver seems like the obvious choice, but always seems to be vastly under-powered around waves 9 to 15, at which point the enemy health inflation outpaces the money-damage increase. Saver is pretty much the only one I can't beat a run on. Found any strategies? or are they just under-powered in this current build?

If you’re on D5 your goal isn’t to start piling money. I wouldn’t even start “saving” until after wave 9.

went with slingshot right now and only slingshot. Rerolled until wave 4 or so. And then only 2 times each round. Ez af

For me it worked with Saver. Used Pistol, Shredder and Pumpguns in the beginning. Did only reroll in the first waves till I got 6 weapons. Stopped rerolling entirely afterwards and only upgraded weapons. Took only items for defense, speed and harvesting. Had my 3000 at round 14. Failed at the boss though which didn't matter. Just wanted the Entrepeneur

I used Loud in D2 I believe, for more enemies. You need Piggy Bank

I finally managed to do it by getting two "+20 dodge while standing still" and the one that increases attack speed relative to dodge. Ended up with 76 (60) dodge.

Pick "Loud", stack enemy waves (and Ethereal weapons) and hope to get a piggy bank.
You can make like 800 per wave and get that to 3000 fast enough.

See, you dont need to win the run anyway.
To unlock these classes i just basically rushed to get what i needed, no need to tryhard and win.
So i stacked Harvest, bought Piggy Bank and stuff that increases material drops. Play at D2 or so and its easy to get.

Another alternative might be the "Sadist", because you save on weapons.

If you play any character that builds FULL DMG you can simply not buy items the last 3-4 waves and you should be at your 3000 goal.

I did it with farmer, just saved up the last couple of turns and got 3000 easily.

Farmer is the best for making money, every upgrade you just pick harvesting , go max on harvesting and survive. It will level you up at the end of the wave and you won't have to risk going for the materials under the enemies

Just had my first win with saver yesterday, i started saving money more or less after round 9 or 10, killed both bosses at the end with a total cash of 6-7k.
