All of my Progress Vanished

I’m playing it on a Steam Deck. I started playing again last night and it was like my progress has been reset. Wondering if anyone has had this experience or a fix that I missed.

Not sure how it works exactly on Steam Deck but before the patch (0.5.11c) when you were offline the game would use the save located at AppData/Roaming/Brotato/user while now it will use the save linked to your account at AppData/Roaming/Brotato/<steam_id>.

If you can check the equivalent locations on your Steam Deck and move the save file from one place to the other you should see your progress again. (probably turn off Steam Cloud beforehand to avoid sync issues)

Had the same issue this morning but fixed with a reboot. A patch got pushed as well so maybe see if that downloaded successfully?

I tried to find those equivalent folders on the steamdeck with no succes...

For how may need the info on linux arch (Steamdeck), you ave to copy the 3 json files located in Home/.local/share/steam/steamapps/compatdata/<game_ID>(1942280 for me)/pfx/drive\c/users/steamuser/AppData/Roaming/Brotato/user

to

Home/.local/share/steam/steamapps/compatdata/<game_ID>/pfx/drive\c/users/steamuser/AppData/Roaming/Brotato/<steam_id>/

and the old save is restored. When Steam ask you wich save you wanna use at launch, say local.

I'm sorry, I've been travelling between places without much in the way of internet. The problem seemed to solve itself for me. I wondering if it was just some kind of weird steamdeck/data/cloud/sync issue that resolved itself when I found some more internet.
