The explosion stuff would only affect the level 4 turrets.
you can go negative on crit/atkspeed/damage without worry (i mean theyll affect the wrench/screwdriver damage, but if you're building engineering then theyre kind of irrelevant)
its items you want to look for; ones i know affect turrets:
- burn on hit (if using this you might want to pay attention to your elemental stat)
- burn spread/speed (if using the above they definitely work; it not using the burn on hit then im not sure if they affect the incendiary turret burn)
- ricochet (obviously only base/laser/explosive turrets, and doesnt suffer the damage decrease because turrets/mines ignore damage%)
- explosion damage (just explosive turret and mines)
- explosion size (same as above)
- projectile pierce (if you have both ricochet and pierce then itll ricochet and then pierce after the bounce)
i want to say the tooth that slows on hit works but honestly its so hard to tell with all the visual noise (took me a couple of rounds after getting them both to notice the ricochet pierce interaction and i still have no clue if incendiary turrets blue engineering burn counts for burn items)
