How do you evaluate Harvest and Luck?
Just beat my level 5 for the first time. Have bout 20ish hours in the game. Enjoying it a lot love the min maxing think there is a ton of potential for more whacky items. One thing my mind currently isn't made up about is how impactful and good harvest and luck are at different stages of the game. I've put a bunch of levels in harvest early and made it to end game but it's hard to gauge how big of a difference it really made. Luck as well. Feels like sometimes I have really high luck but my shops don't really seem that different then if I had -50 luck and I don't really seem to get that many more crates to the point where it pays off. Anyone with more experience or have a better feel of how it effects the game? It's kind of a vague question cause there's no statistic that just this is the X output.

The more luck you have - the more crates you get from enemies and trees.
Luck also affect tier 4 (red) items in shop and from crates.
The optimal luck, from my exp, is around 25-35. It should be enough until end. And, well, luck not as stat, but as random - sometimes you can with negative got really good, like flamethrower on wave 3.

Harvest is better to gain in early waves, later on hp and armor more important than some +20 harvest for lvl-up.

If you're going to get harvest, get it sooner rather than later; as each time Harvest procs (at the end of the wave) it increases for 5%. That's some free harvest you didn't have to pay for.

The most important factor in luck is that it influences stat growth rarities at the end of your waves.

I've seen plenty of people say that harvest simply isn't worth the investment and thus far, I'm inclined to agree.

I agree too. Luck is great and an important stat to take until the ~10th wave. Harvest not so much but it doesn't hurt to take some early.

Yeah I haven't really focused much on harvest but if you take more DPS you kill more and farm more naturally plus it is good late. Harvest never seems to be a difference maker and I was curious if other people had an opinion. So far from my feels test though it just doesn't feel good no matter how early I take it. I just think the amount is too low to be worth it. Like common should be 10-20 the fact that epic is 10 is so low cause you're not going to see it early.

I like to take really early harvest, like in the first three turns, just so I have a pool to negate the negatives when I eventually get stuff that reduces harvest. But only if it's convenient like first few level ups.

Even with farmer and focusing harvest it still doesn't feel as good as just straight murdering everything that's trying to kill you. But I also really struggle with that character.

Well, that's the whole point of harvest. It gives money and exp to classes, that cannot clear the field.

Yeah but if you clear the field you get money and exp. So why not just clear the field instead of investing in something that gives you economy but ends up resulting in you dying because the field is killing you?
