tho it's true stacking burns would be fun, it would require nerfing every individual source of burn and its scaling to not be broken
In fact, the reason flamethrower is the best weapon in the game is because that first hit is doing 25 damage, but the attack speed is nutty, its like a minigun that has 100 pierce.
So 6 flamethrowers is fine because of that first hit damage.
they still are since you're being attacked from all directions
imo it's better to apply more burn than necessary rather than not enough, since burn is so strong the overkill damage doesn't matter
what i think is burning weapons could use more variety - wand is just a (way) worse flamethrower and while torch does aoe burn the burn itself isn't strong enough for a melee weapon that has no burst damage. granted, torch would probably be good if it wasn't for knockback immune enemies
yeah i also think it has to be mixed with direct damage like daggers or tasers or even the sword if you can get it
