What so important about this?
I saw this Dolphin emulator on Twitter coming to Steam with a bunch of likes, so what's so important about this emulator? Could I play Bloodborne on my PC?

No it is not I don't know anything about Dolphin I was saying is it possible

You can only play G.Cube and Wii games with this.

Besides a real port Ps4 emulation will take another 10-30 years. Xbox emulation (the og one) sucks ps2 emulation is not perfect. PS3 emulation sucks and a proper ps4 emulator does not even exist yet.

I would recommend Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon and Eternal Darkness on this one, but i bet the version on steam will be very enforced by putting it on steam, made aware both by others and community so i bet there may be games that could not work, or like japan only exclusive titles, since you either need to learn a whole language to play one game or install a fan patch that translates the game (that may not work since it probably will look for original numbers or something, or if the steam version will be tweaked in some other way.) But other than that i guess it will work well with most games. There was also phantasy star online 1 on gamecube with offline mode and also servers by sega, but they got taken down in 2010, though theres a windows version too with working servers running but it may not be the same since as classic experience since theyve added lot of custom new stuff and changes to it.

Dolphin on steam means I can potentially use steam's shared netplay to play multiplayer with all my friends without having to push them into getting their own rooms and emulator installed... Its gonna revive another means of playing my old games with my web based friends... And make it so much more convenient...

Unfortunately, it's not so great in practice. Parsec is much better than Steam feature.

Worked perfectly fine in every other game ive used it on with any of my friends:Khappy: although I got the internet speeds required for a decent picture... Guess it just is preference... And not all my friends will be willing to install any thirdparty software which makea steams shared play far more convenient too...

Exactly!!! Parsec is the original soft from which steam made its bad copy.
RPT can only be used with SOME steam games and is pretty lame in comparison.
Parsec can be used for WHATEVER you have on your PC plus it doesn't make the host wait while staring at a black screen.
