I just realized why I can only "hyperstrafe" so much, and why I have to sneak while hyperstrafing

(By hyperstrafing I mean moving in the 4th dimension by holding shift + Q or E)

There isn't a wall in the way, just a ledge stopping me, because I'm sneaking

And the reason I have to sneak while hyperstrafing is so that I don't fall off some cliff in the 4th dimension.

you can hyperstrafe while jumping and that removes the restriction
