I've spawned...and I can't move at all!

For the last several times I've started a new game, I have spawned in a rock.
When I spawn in a rock, no matter how much I scroll, the game never lets me out of the rock!

Sounds a bit more serious than just being stuck in some geometry if the controls aren't responding. I'm afraid that I have no idea how to deal with that...

Maybe someone on the Discord might know? I think a lot more players hang out there than on the Steam forums.
