all I really want is a sandbox mode, you, running around the map, wear what you want, buy houses, do jobs, rob stores
whatever
thing like gta online but single player
IMO Mafia III was a great representation of 60s racism in America, it has amazing revenge story but ruined by technical issues and repetitive gameplay. Lincoln was a complex character, are you saying M3 is woke because the protagonist is black?
As the new Mafia game is set in early 1900s Italy, I have to agree with you I hope it stays true to the historical context. I hope no sudden forced "DEI" stuff appear in the game such as LGBTQ+ issues, not because I have an issue with them (which i don't), but because such topics were largely irrelevant and homophobia was still "normal" during that era. For me, GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony (2009) was the best game portraying diversity representing the LGBT community but it doesnt force you into "YOU HAVE TO BE GAY OR BIGOT" narrative, and it was fit since its set in modern day NYC.
You got this all wrong champ. It is them who obsess over these forgetting the important part as developers making an actually good game.
Look at Wukong some journalists cried about lack of inclusion and diversity influencing the review towards negative. But more than 2 million people played it at same time. So no one gives a f.
Same here but that doesn't mean I enjoyed,
I'am simply competitionist, so i had to re do the same crap over and over again and that cost time.
Tho I never touched that crap after i was done, wile i have returned too Mafia 1/ 2 occasionally for a memory refresh.
The lack of self awareness in this response is truly staggering.

You hate wokeness because you were assaulted as a child? Am I reading that right?
So ya. Drop the act of shoehorning political nonsense in place where it doesn't belong and let people have their good old relaxing entertainment after hard day of work. Instead of being lectured woke mob about things they could care least about.
So close to self-actualization. You're almost there.
