Report a translation problem
For the Valve situation, Valve removed every Turkish comment to Ukranian thread instead of transfering them to the most popular Turkish thread. You can see that thread in the 57th page of the Ukranian thread. Thus, what Valve did is kinda racist and people are trying to understand the logic behind their action.
I really don't understand. Hundreds, even thousands of people started to open threads about Turkish language requests to voice their requests. However, it seems that Valve considered this as spam and merged it under Ukrainian language requests. However, considering that so many people requested it, they could have put them under a special Turkish language request thread.
Currently, due to Valve's strange decision, our requests are not showing up. We kindly ask Valve to fix this and put these requests under a proper Turkish language request thread. We urge Valve to fix this situation.
is this a problem with the turkish education system?
It seems like Valve might not fully grasp the situation, especially since they aren’t the ones responsible for the game's language choices. The publisher, 2K Games, is the one who can make the decision to include Turkish language support. However, Valve’s handling of the requests—by merging them with unrelated discussions—is frustrating, as it makes it harder for 2K Games to see the real demand for Turkish localization.
What we need is a dedicated thread for Turkish language support, where all the requests can be seen clearly and accurately. That would allow 2K Games to properly evaluate the demand and hopefully respond in a way that benefits the Turkish gaming community. So, while it’s easy to get caught up in the frustration of the forum mix-up, the important thing is that we continue to make our request heard in the right places.
There is nothing else that you are looking at because you are curious about it, the REASON for the Turkish players was to ask for Turkish Language, That's all.
If someone says “learn English”, let me say from the beginning, does the game can only win if stay in English language, absolutely not.
Kopya gibi yazmayın spam algınıyor.
Also, forum culture is not common among Turkish steam users and they are learning. Moreover, not everyone is lifeless to spend their time on forums and we are talking about thousands of people acting independently. Ofcourse a minority will do things wrong, espepcially when you consider that age of a part of the community is below 16. Maybe stop being a jerk and move on about things that does not concern you. If you are butthurt then it's a different story...
