Already disappointed…
Look like they are doing another boring linear story again like mafia 1 & 2 with zero repeatability. It thus really all they come op with in the times of open world sandbox game ?

a linear narrative experience is good, the market is oversaturated with open world shovelware

Yes it’s good when live in the 90s where all games were linear and scripted. Not to mention it has zero replayabilaty. And why you think there are so many open world sandbox games on the market? Because it’s what people want and what sells. Linear story games is like taking a step back. Maybe you should consider buying a Nintendo if you like so much linear story games from the times of napoleon lol.

Open world filler? What does that even mean? Maybe better stick to movies if you like linear repetitive stories then.

It's a self explanatory term

Mafia 3 was filled with filler and that's just one of the many reasons it was a crap game

yeah, you'd pretty much have to be 30 years in the past to not know about all the ubi-towers open-world burnout.

Just play the missions in linear order, then enjoy the open world in Free Ride mode. I don't know how you found Mafia 1 & 2 stories boring anyway.

Who says there even will be a free ride mode ?

They already said that in the interviews, go read the news.

So more solo gameplay without even your own crew?

But... Mafia 1 and 2 were some of the best games ever made....

Funny enough, both 1 and 2 are better than 3 in every possible way.

Not actually. This is not about being better or not. Every one of them had their own settings, atmosphere and gameplay.
Mafia 1 & 2 were fantastic, sit down and go play GTAO
