I doubt it, surely they realise it was the worst Mafia entry in the series. Hanger 13 did do the Mafia 1 remake and that was fairly successful, I just hope they take and expand upon it. Some additions in 3 were okay, like the lieutenant system but the Ubisoft formula of grinding to unlock main story content is yuck.

Sicily in the 1900s is a relatively poor agricultural and rural region. It's not going to be comparable to other Mafia games imo. Cars were not common. This might indicate a fresh take on a mafia game.

I hope its successful and they release another where its set in Vegas like 70s/80s

Yeah I loved 1 and 2!

Vegas even 60-80s would be awesome timeline. This one sounds very interesting.

Very true and they were not much of a car at that time anyway. Probably horse more reliable.

Yeah, i'm intrigued how the game will look like. It's basically fundamentally different from other Mafia games. Cars were a big part of the series. I guess we'll find out more in December :)
Mafia Remake was fine until they show the ending. It’s awful. Some devs just should stay away from games.

This game will suck even more than mafia 3 because hangar 13 don't care about quality of the game

it's so weird trying to recommend this series to people now after that ending. Nobody wants to play the original, and whether you play DE or 2 first, the endings spoil each other.

I'm curious about your opinion on the ending. Why is it bad? Tommy's philosophy change being about family is a little generic, I admit, but I really liked that he wasn't surprised in the new ending. It makes more sense that he would anticipate his demise rather than being surprised that his old life caught up to him like how it was originally.

Mafia III almost destroyed the entire franchise, absolute joke Ripping this from the Gems of 2k Czech to Hollweird crapifornia that doesn't know the identity of this franchise or how to even make a decent mafia game.
