Despite earning the necessary tokens I can't unlock any pictures. Is anybody else having this issue or can suggest a solution?

Some players have that problem during some of these events. AFAIK, The devs will have to manually look at your account to fix it for you.

So should I send them an email or take the "notice me senpai" approach and wait for them to see this thread?

Hello,
Please make sure you have the necessary number of photo slots to be able to see your unlocked images. If there is still an issue, clearing cache and reinstalling can help as a potential fix.
If the issue still persists, please send a Steam ticket:
Go to your Steam client "Help" section, then "Steam Support", select the game, and choose options that correspond with the issue.

I've cleared the cache, reinstalled the game, I also have free picture slots. After reaching 60 tokens it unlocked the first picture (the one that should unlock after 10 tokens).
I tried to create a ticket through Steam but it's gameplay related so the page just shows the email address to customer service. I've already sent an email yesterday.

I was hoping that by finishing the event (gathered 140 tokens) it will unlock the missing pictures in the gallery but this wasn't the case. Now I have 3 first pictures in the gallery and no way to unlock the missing 2.
