Leviathan boss question.
Ok, what am I missing here? Everywhere on the internet it is said that movement resist can prevent heroes from being dragged underwater by the hand.
My Leper has 80 movement resist. And he is immobolizard (trap icon) by the ability. And the hand drags him down every round.
What gives? It literally says on wiki that it checks for movement resist.

Well, I got absolutely obliterated by this boss... it seems kinda dumb.
If I keep the hand alive, the boss attacks a hundred times per round. The head itself and the hand. No amount of heal can keep up with this.
If I kill the hand, I have no damage left for the head.

:\

Your luck. My leper was dragged down twice last time but every single time the day before.

RNGs man devs love it! Like dreaming general deathdoor till teamwipe(which recently a lof of monster got deathdoor nerfed.)

I always hit the hand, and bleed the head, basically have a DoT character always focus on the head, and the rest deal with whatever's around, a guard characters to protect the DoT at all cost is also a plus.

Then you weren't ready to fight him yet.

Some dage with dot, keep hitting head. It is a fight that will wallop your team, so planning is needed

how can you not be ready when you literally fight him at the same point in the game every time?

Yeah I fought him on the first dungeon and first node and won with no memory characters. It's not about whether you're "READY" it's about RNGs and knowing exactly what to do.......after a horrible death run.

You don't?
All lair bosses are optional, save 1 if you want to fight the final boss of act 2 and onwards.
All regions can appear at any inn, so the Leviathan can be fought at any point if RNG favours you.

I was ready. I had everyone on 60 move res, and Leper in front with 80 move res. And it was region 3, so many skills were leveled.

But my Leper got submerged 3 times in a row. And that's that.

That's just bad luck, unfortunately. Undertow IS a Move Resist check, and I've had teams fairly consistently avoid it by passing the check; but ultimately it's down to RNG whether or not the targeted Hero goes under.

Can confirm, my Leper got pulled under water once and resisted the 3 other tries per Move Resist

Wow this is really helpful. The fight is hard and you have to hit the boss. :)
Levi is easy if you can deal a ~10 dmg and a 5 dmg (3 turn) dot on the hand in one turn. It always goes last and always has 25 health. At most I just use 2 mid dmg dot attacks on whatever character I have and it goes down in one round.
Incision, noxious blast, open vein, controlled burn, harvest, slice off, bleed out are some moves that come to mind.
