Game Progress Lost - 30+ hours gone?
I've played for over 30 hours since the Steam release. I sit down to play today, to find that the "continue journey" button isn't there, and the only option is to start a new one. I'm beyond livid. Is this a know issue?

EDIT: So, in an attempt to follow some of the suggested steps I simply started the game and selected "new journey"... and it continued/acted exactly like it would as if I hit "continue journey" (except the "continue journey" button wasn't there.) So, problem solved I guess. If this happens to anyone else I'd suggest finding and copying/backing up your save file and just hit "begin new journey".

I had the same issue after a power outage, you might be able to delete the most recent save and recover your journey, it worked for me. Saves are here: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\LocalLow\RedHook\Darkest Dungeon II\SaveFiles

Click on the most recently updated directory and clear the most recently updated save. Do not sync with cloud (I'm on EGS) instead update the cloud and you should be good to go.

Sir, this game doesn't even have cloud saving yet, as far as I know.

1. There is a Save list icon in the bottom right corner of the game main image. See if your Save is still on the list.
2. (maybe DD2 doesn't recognize your save folder name.)
go to C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\RedHook\Darkest Dungeon II\SaveFiles Your Save is located here, and it's a folder name number. If that folder exists but can't play that Save.
Make a backup of that save somewhere.
Go to DD2 and start a new save => Exit => Go to that save folder, delete all things in it => copy the data in the old save folder that you backed up there.

If you lose your Save, you can get mine (my Save have 50 hours playing)

It does if you got it on Epic.
