Was kicked off Discord Server Twice.

Darkest Dungeon 2 runs too slowly on my laptop with a graphics chip.
I went to RedHook developer's Discord server to request help.
I did all the sign-in and rule reading.
I did the mandatory 10 minute wait to begin chatting.
After 10 minutes, I was kicked off the server! Twice!
I had to redo the sign in and 10 minute wait each time.

All I could think of was that they thought my DarkChorus nametag was a game reference. No, it's a reference to my deafness. Chorus (music) is dark (unheard) to me.

Because I was kicked off their server twice without being able to ask for help and the game runs slowly on my computer....

I asked for a refund.

The minimum requirements are an AMD or Nvidia card. Intel integrated graphics have come a long way but they are still pretty underpowered, and the drivers on them are also a pretty big pain to work with for developers.

If you put your Discord ID I can try to see what happened with your account on Discord. It looks like you were kicked for not verifying your account within the required timeframe. Please check the rules for verifying your account with the server.

My Discord ID is DarkChorus #6063. My account has been active since September 2020.
I initially tried to use the invite link directly from the discussion board here on the Steam forums. That tried to ask me for a new account, which I declined.

I logged into my Discord account and used the invite link for the server (I am not 100% knowledgeable of Discord, I admit that)

I went through the reading of the rules. I went through the Select all pics of a cow and Select all pics of a lion CAPTCHA tests.

I went to the general area first, then the technical channel that I saw was available.

The timer for "you must have age at least 10 minutes on this server before you can comment" countdown began. The room was active, so it wasn't a case of the room closing.

As soon as the 10 minutes was up, I was immediately kicked off the server. Not just disconnected. It unlisted your server from my Discord list.

I tried again. Same read the rules. Same 10 minute timer. Same kicked off the server.

I never was able to type a single word or communicate with anyone before being kicked out.

I followed every rule and every prompt immediately. I do not understand this "Please check the rules for verifying your account with the server"

I think I am misunderstanding the tone of that statement.

Re: Gameplay
Some games still work well even with the AMD or NVIDIA requirements. Steam does not provide any details on which software will work with an Intel 5500 chip. It is always unknown for me.

Darkest Dungeon 1 runs perfectly.
Darkest Dungeon 2 would run very slowly at the lowest graphic settings in the Options. I was hoping to get more info from your staff via the recommended Discord channel.

I love the games. I hope we can move beyond this issue with the Discord server.
