Thanks to this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanic I can play two games at once!
Dragging out the engaging parts of game with mindless waiting only hurts the experience. Saying "well DD1 was like that too so it's fine here" is A) inaccurate due to the existence of mods, and B) stupid deflection even if there were no speed mods
I think youve highlighted the exact problem. I dont want to be alt tabbing out of a game to make it engaging.
Engaging how many times? Cause quite frankly, it got annoying "Oh, bandages again? Holy water this time? Damn, forgot the shovel, gotta use my hands." etc.
Forcing you to manage resources you had to guess you had to bring without prior knowledge? You know DD2 does something similar, right? Bring the right stage ooach items and there will be no region guessing, much like DD1 with bringing the right item for the right situation.
I don't understand what, exactly? That the game was a literal slog to walk through multiple dungeons and have encounters based around "How many times will I miss today since my character isn't level "X" or I don't have the right trinket?" No, I fully understand. I like both games, but DD2 is more fun to "Me" and less tedious than the first. You don't have to agree.
