Clap clap clap there he is the guy that does everything first try WOOP WOOP
i surrender to you supreme leader and ask for your advice.
is it to hard to leave a hint? i dont ask for tutorial but it just feels unfair to fail the progress and then find no shrine for the next 30-40min because of roads....
And then i have to do it with every chara. like i said i wanna see how many peoples unlocked all skills before quitting the game.
I never claimed I did it first try. lol
Sorry, I can't leave a hint right now because I forgot how it worked. I did it in EA and that was a long time ago.
As a general hint, most puzzles give you plenty of tries to experiment and get a feel for them. Try doing that. Do something and observe what happens then adapt. Rinse, repeat.
I do think that you should be able to retry puzzles from the hero pick screen if you failed them during a run. So it isn't like I'm totally against you or something. lol
I did unlock all the skills at one point. It takes a while. If you want a tip for that: Most regions have 2 hero shrines in them (sometimes on the same node level, that sucks). So it's totally fair to start a run, look at the first region map, grab any easy hero shrines, and reset.
Also note that not all skill unlocks have a puzzle attached to them and certain hero shrine events will unlock more than 1 skill. So the grind isn't as big as it might first appear to be.
Good luck! I'll try to get to this puzzle you spoke of and give you a more direct hint later.
I dont blame the puzzle at all wtf...
i blame the info they give us about it and the feeling you have when you fail and see no shrine for the next 45min.. thats just pain on a level i didnt expect from DD
i love the backline lore and this game feels like a tribute to the first DD with more lore behind the peoples ( well the one we got left with lmao )
so dont get me wrong i LOVE THE PUZZLEs but not the way they punish you and hide like little informations that wouldnt destroy the puzzle but would feel more fair.
about the 2 shrines each run.. well first of all gl bouth are on the same way and you scouted them and yes i know as more i progress as faster i can go "mostly" but still...
and yes most puzzle arent that crazy and i still love to watch or listen..
but then why you get from 0 to 100 difficult spike in just one puzzle, example jester final mission. there was no training in the 4 missions before.
same for bounty hunter. no one tells you you can just shuffle between spot 2-3 and be safe forever.. but if you go spot 1 and kill the guard... have fun when he respawns with armor and you cant go back 2 lines fast enough or kill him..
there is no training for that, so a hint... just a little like hey he respawns next turn with armor... would be enough to know im in DANGER...
small Qol improvments you know.. but yea go on.
However, each action will also add a Stress pip. That’s why you need to correctly arrange the notes on your side so that they will match at least three on the enemy’s side. If successful, the Melody action will be unlocked. This will destroy all the notes for that set, while removing three Stress pips. If you can complete all three Melody puzzles, you’ll get the Finale skill.
what the actual fkk....
why do i get only info play 3melodys and not copy the enemy melodys
The left and right side are mirrored. You gotta match up the notes on both sides.
E.g. left side rank 1 must be the same as right side rank 1. (Counting from the middle obvs.) Same for the rest of the notes in the other ranks.
Your jester is a "wild card" and can be used in the place of any note for a match, np.
Anything you already matched will have that "in tune" buff under it, the orange one. You won't have to bother to change those any more.
You can either move the jester to shuffle the notes into place for a match, or you can change the notes.
Changing the notes cycles them through 4 different notes: I don't know the music terms but basically it goes:
1# single note with 1 "tail"
2# single note with 2 "tails"
3# double note with 1 "tail"
4# double note with 2 "tails"
Once you've reached the double note with 2 "tails" (#4) it loops back around to single note with 1 "tail" (#1) and so on.
Knowing all this you should be able to solve it. Either move yourself or change notes to match the 2 sides, then use the melody skill to play the melody and move on to the next one.
I don't know if it's randomized for every attempt or not. If it's fixed, here's another tip: I never had to move the jester forward, only backwards (+ change some notes).
GLHF!
made after one more try then... tyty
