Radiant flame upgraded?
So I recently unlocked everything at the altar of hope and was about to start a stygian run when i decided to check the radiant flame and it's insanely more powerful than i remembered. is this because i have no need for candles now so there's no reason not to use it? unless of course you're doing a stygian run. here's a ss of what i mean

ooh ok. yeah i've been leaving at the final inn since i'm just hunting quirks to lock. makes sense thanks.

I wouldn't call it god mode, it certainly does provide assistance in different areas of the game, but it will not totally change the game making into it into a cakewalk.

agreed. i used it during my first few runs and really only stopped since i was trying to unlock everything else. honestly at first i thought NOT equipping it was the same as doing a torchless run from DD1. but yeah it's a trade off, be more powerful now, to sacrifice power later on (more candles = better gear/more characters/better memories etc etc). if you truly want a challenging experience don't use radiant torch now, and don't use the candles you get to upgrade later on.

now if they had a mode where you couldn't use the radiant torch or you HAD to use the stygian from the get go, then i'd definitely try that. in the mean time i'll use every advantage afforded me.... except man at arms, that dude seriously breaks the game
