Surely hope so, been so ready to have him in Confession already. Who doesn't want to be in the wagon with the dog
They've already confirmed that the remaining modules won't release alongside a DLC.
However, they've also said Houndmaster is very commonly requested, so if we get another returning heroes, he's all but guaranteed to be the one.
I just can't see why they went with abom before arbalist or houndmaster.
I know abom is very fitting for the universe and interesting from a lore & mechanical standpoint but I can't remember seeing people desperate to play with abom again
Prolly so his backstory could dove tail nicely into the other bit of the DLC. Maybe someone at Redhook really wanted to play with Abom. Maybe they have a plan to bring back all the old characters eventually. Who knows.
There's a cat pet in the new DLC. You can feed it for various effects during battle, and it's got a 5% chance to scratch you for a bit of bleed when you do so. :P
His passing is an absolute loss to the world, but the lines from DD1 are already there. What better way to honor the legend of Wayne than to immortalise the previous work he's already done in the second game. IMO it would only make hearing Old DD1 lines for Houndie more special, because they were intentionally not replaced.
Houndmaster being able to ehnance or change pets in some way would also be very interesting, something I had never thought about since I wanted to see him from the very launch of DD2.
Yeah, they literally had the "Binding Blade" icon stamped on them.
