Houndmaster
I'd pay for a houndmaster dlc instantly and so would many others, there is stress in this dark world that only the wolfhound can heal.

I suspect that Red Hook will add Houndmaster along with the second part of Kingdoms mode.

Surely hope so, been so ready to have him in Confession already. Who doesn't want to be in the wagon with the dog
I would absolutely love it if Houndmaster made it into DD2, but I feel like Red Hook could potentially be hesitant on adding anything which required narration after the passing of Wayne June. I don't even know how you narrate anything in this game without him.

They've already confirmed that the remaining modules won't release alongside a DLC.

However, they've also said Houndmaster is very commonly requested, so if we get another returning heroes, he's all but guaranteed to be the one.
Aye Gimme a Houndmaster, and a a class where you have a kitten and hugging the kitten reduces stress. I would pay for a kitten DLC.

I just can't see why they went with abom before arbalist or houndmaster.

I know abom is very fitting for the universe and interesting from a lore & mechanical standpoint but I can't remember seeing people desperate to play with abom again

Prolly so his backstory could dove tail nicely into the other bit of the DLC. Maybe someone at Redhook really wanted to play with Abom. Maybe they have a plan to bring back all the old characters eventually. Who knows.

There's a cat pet in the new DLC. You can feed it for various effects during battle, and it's got a 5% chance to scratch you for a bit of bleed when you do so. :P

His passing is an absolute loss to the world, but the lines from DD1 are already there. What better way to honor the legend of Wayne than to immortalise the previous work he's already done in the second game. IMO it would only make hearing Old DD1 lines for Houndie more special, because they were intentionally not replaced.

Houndmaster being able to ehnance or change pets in some way would also be very interesting, something I had never thought about since I wanted to see him from the very launch of DD2.
When you pay attention in the Abom Launch trailer there were 2 more hero slots still locked.

I saw that but IIRC those were the spots for crusader and duelist

Yeah, they literally had the "Binding Blade" icon stamped on them.
