Kingdoms , what I am supposed to do?
I am completely lost here, too many options too many upgrades and the in-game glossary is very brief about the overall gameplan

Seems like you have to defend the Inns and do contracts? I don't know. It's a mode that's so totally stacked against the players, only masochists want to play it.

There is some guides on youtube already you can checkout. I'm watching ShuffleFM right now cause I also hate when games don't really explain things.

Make sure to read any tutorials the game throws at you, for starters.

Your goal is to complete the quest and kill the final boss. If you reach the day limit, you get a game over. If all your heroes die, you get a game over. And if too many inns get destroyed in sieges, you get a game over.,

why not explore the game yourself?

It's honestly just kind of more of the same DD2 IMO, just longer drawn out runs - with less populated regions for me so far. You are supposed to defend the inns and keep them from being lost while hunting down the "boss" through the ambiguous "quest line".

You can upgrade each inn individually, and move heroes between inns or swap them out of your party at inns. That's about the gist of it all.

I will say though custom difficulty setting are cool so whoever said "stacked against the player" is pretty wrong. You can make it super easy if you want to just roll.

I mean it does have a custom difficulty settings, so you can adjust many aspects of the runs difficulty to better fit what the players deems fair.
It doesn't really explain as much as it should, but I had no issues figuring it out once I started playing. You just defend the inns, and move towards where the beast men are on the map. It does feel like just more DD2, but with extra steps I guess?

Longer runs...? If this is true I wont even bother. Worst aspect of DD2
Not many crave the sense of discovery anymore. spoon-fed. failure and perseverance. cool mode

Because I'm at work and my time is limited. Fortunately the guide I watched didn't really spoil the game mechanics, just gave a brief overview. So I just listened to it, and when I get time to play it will be easier to get started.

I have been wandering around the world for 45 days, I have defended all the settlements, but how can I reach the final boss before my days in the game are over?
This mod is so buggy that I'm refusing to play further until it is fixed. Spending 10 minutes with setting up your party, just to find out that you are stucked and unable to move on the map nor to do anything else, is not fun at all. So alt+F4, start again and the same things happens again... Fix it pls.

You have to do the quests.
First you go to a watchtower. Get an item to equip on the wagon.
Then go to 2 hospitals and 2 merchants, get an item to use on the in which gives you a quirk and a battle item.
Then go to a creatures den, and in the second battle it will be beastmen, throw the item at them. Get another item to put on the wagon.
After equipping it you go to each different region collecting meat to starve the beastmen.
After having all the meat it combines in town, into 4 wagon items.
Then you go to a region and there will be an alpha creature den, kill the alpha goatman, and you get a boss trophy to equip on you wagon.
Then a place appears where you can fight the BOSS.

Cuz not all of us have the free time to devote to figuring out how an intentionally convoluted system works.
