caged knight fight bugged..

im trying to unlock the crusader but this one swordsman has his clamor ability bugged.
no matter how i go back to the menu and come back to play he never plays his ability out fully and i'm just stuck here while the swordsman replays half of the clamor animation over and over. nothing i do can fix this but i don't want to abandon my expedition...

Can you let me know if verifying the integrity of your game files helps at all?
This can be done by right-clicking Darkest Dungeon II in your Steam Library > Selecting Properties > Selecting Installed Files and Selecting "Verify Integrity of Game Files"
