I think the vestal is underrated. Shes horrible early game when u dont have anything unlocked etc, but once you get some trinkets on her to empower her healing, shes not that bad. And i like using toe to toe on the helion and then protecting her with an upgraded sanctuary with the vestal to then gain conviction with the chaplain path, i love it. I just liked these character and i wanted to make it work and it did surprisingly well.
I assume you've done it, and if so, what team did you use?

Congrats! Not used to seeing chaplain as a go-to for that. Ironically one of my first grand slams was Arsonist, Intermezzo, Chaplain, Ravager.

I have done multiple, especially when Binding Blade launched. Very satisfying albeit frustrating at times.

I just find that the vestal is quite good at tanking, so again, if i wanna take some pressure off the other two characters, toe to toe into sanctuary is a very nice combo. And obviously chaplain makes perfect sense for that. Vestal and the Helion are my favourite characters. I wish i could somehow make frontline vestal with bace mash and hand of light work and feel good but it just seems so bad.

Also cool team, think ive only played the jester once so im not very familiar with how to play him. But i like his mobility.

Dont have the DLC but im thinking about getting it.

It's worth it IMO, but not worth rushing. Once you hit a wall and need new content, then get it and enjoy some more unlocking.

My first grand slam was actually not that long ago, it was after the highwayman rework. My team was vanguard, the new rogue, virtuoso and alchemist. So, it was honestly pretty basic/'meta'. Rouge is actually really good now, maybe even highwayman's best path, though I am happy that sharpshot, even post nerf, still hits those high damage, guaranteed crit backline shots and is still good.

Oh yeah, the new block + he gets on the upgraded duelists advance is pretty nice. And thats a cool team, i do wanna try out the Jester more. Im currently doing a run with the vestal helion plague doctor and highwayman. Its going fine but im not the biggest fan of the highwayman/helion combo since the helion is my main damage output. So ive been trying the bleed path with the highwayman, and it feels kinda meh. It is nice to put bleeds on targets with the ripose and grapeshot blast is fun to use but idk. Gonna try a whole different team next time.
