Hold the control key and a list comes up which has most of them. If you mouse over any of them, the tooltip explains what the effects of each are.

The tokens wiki page[darkestdungeon.fandom.com] is also a reference if you'd like something with a bit more text than the tooltips.

If you hit escape the second option in the menu is also the 'Token Glossary'. Mouse over them for more info.

I have been playing for a while and I still dont know what that icon does. They should have implemented a more thorough implementation on this.

Like mousing over the icon itself to see what id does or have a button prompt to open a description of every icon on the highlighted item/

that would be debuff resistance for resisting negative tokens(weak blind vulnerable tokens etc) usually and sometimes more specific things like malediction for occultist

blue = negative token, and blue arrow = debuff. Debuff RES was explained above.
Debuff RES Piercing, however, means that if the trinket holder casts debuffs such as Occultist's curses or Runaway's blind, their success will have -100% chance of success against a target with 0% resistance. Their burns or bleeds however will definitely succeed against anyone with up to 66% resistance.
